I build software for the automotive industry — the kind that keeps your car running on the road. My work spans embedded controllers to digital twin simulations for thermal and propulsion systems. I trained as an Energy Engineer and have worked my way through the automotive domain, from startups to major manufacturers and world-class test centers. I currently work as a Lead Control System Architect at Jaguar Land Rover.
I like digging into new technologies, and occasionally old ones too.
What I work on
Control systems are where I spend most of my time. I develop powertrain control software and have a side interest in IoT and RTOS work.
On the web side, I have put a fair amount of time into React and WebAssembly. That path led me to Rust. Two of the projects — Frees and Pinwall — are on my GitHub and free to use.
I also run a home lab made up of Mini PCs and a NAS. It is where I learn network programming, self-hosted services, and web development outside of work. Lately I have been poking at tunneling and cybersecurity.
