I’m a Lead Control System Architect working on electric vehicle software, currently at JLR. Outside of work I split my attention between music, analog electronics, and whatever book is closest to hand — this site is where the three overlap.

What I do

I design and review the timing and architecture contracts that govern how ECU software boots, schedules, and fails safely. Most days that means AUTOSAR configuration, MISRA-C reviews, and arguing about deviation rationale.

What I’m interested in

Tube amplifier circuits, the history of standardization, and the point where a good record and a well-tuned control loop start to feel like the same problem.
